What Makes Us Different?
We warranty our bees β see below. We also invest in people and help build beekeepers. We are around for all your questions and appreciate hobby and new beekeeper questions. Heck, we were there once!
We also appreciate all the referrals for bee removals from our network of new beekeepers, and if your bees do too well β we will even buy back splits of your hives. Many of our beekeepers have seen a positive return selling queens and swarms over the years. Our investment is in you and our bees. We can grow and learn together.
Warranty
Our warranty on our bees consists of a good faith agreement with our clients to replace hives that have died with a wild type swarm of bees the following year if the bees die.
We strongly encourage all clients to attend our Beekeeping Basics, Beekeeping 101, or a private lesson offered each month at the Dallas Makerspace and follow our instructions precisely, as keeping bees can be complicated and mistakes like moving hives short distances, overly inspecting the hive, failing to do mite treatment, or failing to take honey will cause issues with keeping honeybees.
Beekeeping Training
We offer monthly beekeeping courses to ensure our customers β and anyone interested in the craft β have the knowledge to succeed. Our classes cover everything from hive setup and seasonal management to mite treatment and honey harvesting.
Training is an essential part of what we do. A well-educated beekeeper means healthier bees, better honey production, and fewer colony losses. Whether you purchase bees from us or already have hives of your own, our classes are open to all skill levels.
Ready to start your beekeeping journey? Contact Honey Bee Rescue to place an order or sign up for our next training class. You can also call us at (214) 227-7562 β we're always happy to answer questions.
