- The Bee Rescue
Our apiaries (otherwise known as bee yards) span from rural South Texas, San Antonio area to the outskirts of Austin stretching as far as north Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. We have over 300 hives in Texas alone and practice keeping smaller apiaries 10-50 per location not to exhaust our bees but rely more on the natural flora to feed our bees. It also makes for unique honey (for more information see us at realhoney.net). Geographically each of our service areas offers bee removal, honey bee rescue, swarm removal, beekeeping, bee handling services, and apiary consultation. For a beekeeper near you call Honey Bee Rescue and help save the bees.
Why aren’t our apiaries listed? For the protection of our bees and our locations that are both on public and private land we want to ensure that our neighbors and bees are happy. Disclosing apiary locations can cause problems through other beekeepers squatting nearby fields to thieves stealing hives (see our blog on beehive theft) Beekeepers like to keep it a secret but we offer classes throughout the year for new beekeepers to learn hands on in our apiaries and with our bees.
Unfortunately, we do not disclose the location of our apiaries as a precautionary measure to protect our investment and bees. But no need to worry, our bees are safe and far from the urban homes they were removed and reside in rural areas.
Stay tuned for more information as we grow our bee removal business. Our goal is to expand into all 4 states Louisiana Oklahoma Arkansas and Texas soon. If you live in one of these states and have questions on beekeeping give us a call 1-800-687-8760 we are always wanting to meet new people dedicated to live bee removal and safe bee removal. We can put you in touch with local beekeepers or help you find local bee clubs!
